- Channel Update - Send messages when you update your stream details
- Enter Category - Send messages when switching to specific games
- New Follow - Send messages when someone follows your channel
- Raid - Send messages when you receive a raid
- Cheer - Send messages when viewers cheer with bits
- Subscription Message - Send messages for new subscriptions and resubs
- Hype Train - Send messages for Hype Train events
How to Use Triggers
- Navigate to the Chat Bot section in your Streamerly dashboard
- Select the "Triggers" tab
- Click "Add New Trigger" to create a new trigger
- Choose the type of trigger you want to create
- Configure the trigger settings:
- Set your message using available variables
- Enable/disable the trigger
- Set any additional options specific to the trigger type
- Save your changes
Variables
All triggers support variables that you can use in your messages. Variables are wrapped in double curly braces, like this: {{variable_name}}. Available variables vary by trigger type - check each trigger's documentation for its specific variables.
Best Practices
- Keep Messages Concise: Long messages can clutter chat
- Use Emotes Wisely: Add personality but don't overdo it
- Test Your Triggers: Use the test button to preview messages
- Monitor Chat Flow: Ensure triggers don't overwhelm your chat
- Regular Updates: Review and update your triggers periodically
