Chat Bot
Streamerly's Chat Bot adds automated interactions to your Twitch chat. Create custom commands viewers can use, set up automatic responses to stream events, and schedule timed messages — all without writing code.
Prerequisites
Before the chat bot can work, you need to mod the Streamerly bot in your Twitch channel. Without moderator permissions, the bot cannot send messages.
Features
Commands
Custom chat commands that viewers trigger with a prefix (e.g., !hello, !socials). Each command can:
- Respond with a custom message
- Use variables to include dynamic data
- Be restricted by access level (everyone, subscriber, moderator, etc.)
See Commands for the full guide.
Triggers
Automatic responses that fire when stream events happen — like a new follow, subscription, or raid. Triggers are separate from alert triggers; chatbot triggers send chat messages, while stream triggers display overlay alerts.
See Triggers for all available trigger types.
Timers
Scheduled messages that repeat at set intervals. Use them for periodic reminders, social media links, or rotating announcements.
