Identity Switching
Identity switching lets team members temporarily act as another streamer to manage their Streamerly setup. When you switch identity, you see and edit the target streamer's overlays, triggers, flows, and other resources as if you were them.
How It Works
- A streamer adds you to their team with appropriate permissions
- In the Streamerly sidebar, use the Identity Picker to switch to their identity
- The dashboard and all management pages now show their data
- Make your changes (edit overlays, configure triggers, etc.)
- Switch back to your own identity when done
Who Can Switch Identity?
- Team members — Can assume the identity of streamers who have granted them permissions
- Admins — Can assume any streamer's identity
Your available actions while in another identity are limited by the permissions they've granted you. For example, if you only have "Edit Overlays" permission, you can modify overlays but not triggers or flows.
Clearing Your Identity

- Open the Identity Picker in the sidebar
