Super Cheers

Super Cheers let viewers submit custom images, audio clips, and TTS messages with their cheer alerts. Viewers pay bits to send a Super Cheer, and the content displays on your stream through the alert system.

How It Works

  1. A viewer opens the Streamerly Twitch Extension on your channel
  2. They compose a Super Cheer by selecting an image, audio, and/or typing a message
  3. They pay the configured bit cost
  4. The Super Cheer alert displays on your overlay

Configuration

Super Cheer settings are part of your Stream Trigger configuration:

SettingDescription
EnabledTurn Super Cheers on or off
PausedTemporarily pause Super Cheers without disabling
Standard PriceBit cost for a regular Super Cheer
Hype PriceDiscounted bit cost during Hype Trains
Allow Hype TrainReduce price during Hype Trains
Free CheersNumber of free Super Cheers per user per stream

Content Options

Viewers can customize their Super Cheer with:

  • Custom Image — Select from approved assets in your library
  • Custom Audio — Select an audio clip to play
  • Message — Text message displayed with the alert
  • TTS Voice — Choose which voice reads their message
  • Play Order — Whether the sound effect or TTS plays first

Moderation

Super Cheers support content moderation through the trigger's global settings:

  • Permission Mode — Control who can submit custom content:
    • none — No custom content allowed
    • requires_approval — Custom content must be approved before displaying
    • streamer_only — Only the streamer's own assets can be used
    • all — Anyone can submit custom content
  • Content Filtering — Automated moderation with custom banned and allowed terms
  • Mature Content — Allow or block mature-flagged assets

Pausing Super Cheers

You can temporarily pause Super Cheers without fully disabling them:

  • From the dashboard — Toggle the paused state in your trigger settings
  • From Stream Deck — Use the pause, unpause, or toggle buttons
  • From a Flow — Use the Set Redeem Status effect node

This is useful during segments where you don't want Super Cheer alerts interrupting.
