Alert Configuration

Alerts are configured through the Alert Box widget in your overlay and the Alert Settings page. This page covers all the visual and audio options available.

Alert Box Widget Settings

The Alert Box widget in your overlay controls how alerts are displayed. Configure these settings in the Overlay Editor:

Per-Event Settings

Each event type (follows, cheers, subs, gifted subs, raids) can be individually configured:

Global Alert Settings

Alerts support entrance and exit animations:

Animation Options

Both entrance and exit animations can be configured independently with different types, durations, and easing.

Text Styling

Alert text can be styled with:

Tips

  • Test animations in the Overlay Editor before going live
  • Match entrance and exit — Use complementary animations (e.g., Slide Up in, Slide Down out)
  • Keep durations reasonable — 0.3–0.5s for animations, 3–5s for display duration
  • Use easingease-out looks natural for entrances, ease-in for exits
