Widgets Overview
Widgets are the building blocks of your overlay. Each widget displays a specific type of content — from static images to dynamic alert boxes. Add widgets to your overlay canvas, position them, and configure their properties.
Adding a Widget
- Open your overlay in the Overlay Editor
- Click the Add Widget button
- Select a widget type from the list
- Give it a name
- Position and resize it on the canvas
Widget Categories
Single Widgets
Individual display elements that show content directly:
| Widget | Description |
|---|---|
| Alert Box | Displays stream alerts (follows, subs, cheers, raids) |
| Text | Dynamic or static text with template variables |
| Image | Static image from your asset library |
| Bubble Text | Animated floating text display |
| Colour | Solid color block for backgrounds or accents |
| YouTube | Embedded YouTube video player |
| Super Cheer Image | Displays the image from Super Cheer alerts |
Group Widgets
Container widgets that hold and organize other widgets:

| Ad Group | Shows content during ad breaks |

Common Widget Properties
All widgets share these base properties:

| Position | X and Y coordinates on the canvas |
| Size | Width and height in pixels |
| Rotation | Rotation angle in degrees |
| Opacity | Transparency (0–100%) |
| Layer Order | Stack order relative to other widgets |
