Alert Box Widget
The Alert Box widget is where your stream alerts are displayed. When a stream trigger fires (follow, sub, cheer, raid), the alert's image, audio, and text appear in this widget.
Setup
- Add an Alert Box widget to your overlay
- Position and resize it where you want alerts to appear
- Configure the alert settings for each event type
Event Configuration
Each event type can be individually enabled and configured:

| Follows | Enable/disable, custom message template |
| Cheers | Enable/disable, message template, show viewer's message |
| Subscriptions | Enable/disable, new sub message, resub message, show viewer's message |
| Gifted Subs | Enable/disable, singular and plural message templates |
| Raids | Enable/disable, message template |
Alert Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Use Alert Audio | Play the audio clip from the stream trigger |
| Use Alert Image | Display the image from the stream trigger |
| Audio Delay | Seconds to wait before playing audio |
| Disable TTS | Turn off text-to-speech for all events |
Animation
Alerts support entrance and exit animations. See Alert Configuration for animation types and options.
Text Styling
Alert text supports customization:
- Font family, size, and weight
- Text color with up to two outline colors
- Drop shadow
Tips
- One Alert Box per overlay is usually sufficient — alerts queue and play sequentially
- Size matters — Make the widget large enough for your alert images to display clearly
- Test your alerts using the trigger test button to see how they look
