Creating Goals
Set up a goal to track viewer contributions and community milestones.
Step 1: Navigate to Goals
Navigate to Goals in the sidebar.
Step 2: Create a New Goal
- Click Create Goal
- The goal wizard walks you through the setup
Step 3: Configure Your Goal
Basic Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | A descriptive name for your goal |
| Description | Explain what the goal is for |
| Type | Select a goal type (standard, milestone, team, competitive, etc.) |
| Target Amount | The point total needed to complete the goal |
| End Type | When the goal ends: manual, time_limit, or end_of_stream |
Contribution Values
Configure how different contribution types convert to goal points:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Tier 1 Sub Value | Points per Tier 1 subscription |
| Tier 2 Sub Value | Points per Tier 2 subscription |
| Tier 3 Sub Value | Points per Tier 3 subscription |
| Bits Per Point | How many bits equal one goal point |
Milestones (For Milestone Goals)
Add milestone tiers with:
- Threshold — The point value where this milestone unlocks
- Label — A description of what happens at this milestone
Display Options
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Show Points | Display the point count on the overlay |
| Show in Overlay | Add a progress widget to your overlay |
Step 4: Activate
Goals start in Draft status. When you're ready:
- Review your settings
- Set the status to Active
- The goal begins accepting contributions
Goal Lifecycle
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Draft | Goal is configured but not yet active |
| Active | Accepting contributions, visible to viewers |
| Completed | Target reached |
| Failed | Time limit reached without meeting the target |
| Cancelled | Manually cancelled by the streamer |
