Treasure Trove

Treasure Trove is a prize-based engagement system where viewers contribute toward a goal for a chance to win prizes. Think of it as a community raffle powered by channel point or bit contributions.

How It Works​

  1. Create a Treasure Trove goal with a target amount and prize
  2. Add contribution tiers — each tier costs a different amount
  3. Viewers contribute by redeeming the corresponding channel point rewards
  4. When the goal is reached, a winner is drawn from all contributors

Contribution Tiers​

Each Treasure Trove can have multiple contribution tiers:

Weighted vs Unweighted Drawing​

  • Unweighted — Every contributor has an equal chance of winning, regardless of how much they contributed
  • Weighted — Contributors who gave more have proportionally higher odds

Winner Process​

  1. The goal reaches its target amount
  2. A winner is drawn (weighted or random)
  3. The winner is announced with their username
  4. The winner can accept the prize

Overlay Display​

Treasure Trove progress can be displayed on your overlay using dedicated widgets:

  • Treasure Trove Progress — Shows contribution progress toward the target
  • Treasure Trove Winner — Announces the winner when drawn
