Uploading Images
Upload images to use in your alerts, overlays, and stream triggers.
How to Upload
- Navigate to Upload Assets → Images in the sidebar
- Click or drag to select an image file
- Fill in the details:

| Name | Yes | A descriptive name to find the asset later |
| Tags | No | Keywords for search and organization |
| Public | No | Make visible to other streamers (default: on) |
| Mature | No | Flag content not suitable for all audiences |
- Preview your image in the built-in viewer
- Click Upload
Supported Formats
| Format | Notes |
|---|---|
| PNG | Best for images with transparency |
| JPG | Best for photographs and complex images |
| GIF | Supports animation |
| SVG | Vector graphics, scales without quality loss |
| WebM | Video format, treated as animated media |
Maximum file size is 10 MB for all formats.
After Upload
- Public assets enter the approval queue and must be reviewed before they're available on streams
- Private assets are available immediately in your library
- All uploaded assets appear in your Library page
Tips
- Use descriptive names — "excited-cat-dance" is easier to find than "image_001"
- Add relevant tags — Tags help you and others find assets in search
- Use transparency — PNG and GIF with transparent backgrounds work best as alert images
- Check dimensions — Large images are resized automatically, but starting with appropriate dimensions gives the best quality
