Asset Approval
When viewers or team members submit custom assets (through Super Cheers or team access), those assets may need approval before they appear on stream. The approval workflow helps you maintain content quality and safety.
Permission Modes
Each stream trigger has a Custom Asset Permission Mode that controls who can submit custom content:
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| None | No custom assets allowed |
| Requires Approval | Custom assets must be approved by the streamer or a team member before use |
| Streamer Only | Only the streamer's own assets can be used |
| All | Anyone can submit custom assets without approval |
Approval Queue
When the mode is set to Requires Approval:
- A viewer or team member submits a custom asset
- The asset enters the Asset Approval queue
- Navigate to Asset Approval in the sidebar to review pending assets
- For each asset, you can approve or reject it
- Approved assets become available for use; rejected assets are removed
The sidebar shows a notification counter when assets are waiting for approval.
Content Moderation
In addition to manual approval, you can configure automated moderation:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Enabled | Turn on automated content filtering |
| Mode | block (reject automatically) or require_approval (flag for review) |
| Custom Banned Terms | Words that automatically flag or block content |
| Custom Allowed Terms | Exceptions to the banned terms list |
Rejected Assets
Rejected assets can be viewed in the Rejected Assets page in the sidebar for record-keeping.
